In This Together Join us this week for a journey of the soul with a message on “In This Together,” learning to share what we are good at doing to make the world a better place.
In This Together – Today’s message is “In This Together.” Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana, continues our 2025 series on Wholehearted Living and our March month on Relationships. She speaks of of the power of our beliefs and when we empower others to be helpful, our life can be a whole lot easier! She encourages us to remember we are all in this together, to reach out and lend a helping hand, and to let laughter and love help heal. When we share what we are good at doing, we make other people’s lives easier. She asks us to create spiritual practices that remind us we are all in this together. As Abraham Lincoln said:
“The best way to predict the future is to create it.”
Enjoy the music of Gary Lynn Floyd, Karen Drucker, and our own CSL Southeast Louisiana music team.

“Relationships evolve over time, and we are each on a path of continued personal growth and expansion. This means that change is part of our evolution, and we need to get comfortable with this as an important dynamic in our relationships.”
In This Together– Message Only – Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana continues our 2025 series on Wholehearted Living and our Narch month on Relationships with a message on “In This Together.” To be in this together requires us to know none of us walk this journey alone. Even when we feel isolated, we are part of a larger whole—a web of connection that sustains us. If we let go of the idea that we are alone and believe we are deeply connected, we notice how we are part of something greater – part of a community, and we might even be amazed the world opens up in ways we never imagined.
As Rev. Katherine Economou said:
“You never know how much the smallest act of kindness can mean to someone else.”
Imagine how much impact this community can have if we each chose to step fully into helping each other and being in this together.

Imagine how much impact this community can have if we each chose to set loving and clear boundaries that honor our own divinity and the divinity of others with whom we are in relationship.

“No matter if it is with a significant other, friend, family member, or co-worker, it is important to be aware of how you handle conflict and to learn ways of fostering harmony and connection. … Relationships can be blessings in your life and with some attention and forethought, you can keep them harmonious and peaceful.”
Choose Your Battles– Message Only – Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana continues our 2025 series on Wholehearted Living and our month of March talks on relationships with a message on “Choose Your Battles.” Not every battle is worth fighting. Learning to discern which conflicts bring us closer to love and connection rather than further away is an important skill.
C JoyBell C reminds us:
“Choose your battles wisely. After all, life isn’t measured by how many times you stood up to fight. It’s not winning battles that makes you happy, but it’s how many times you turned away and chose to look into a better direction. Life is too short to spend it on warring. Fight only the most, most, most important ones, let the rest go.”
Imagine how much impact this community can have if we each chose happiness over being right and love and connection over conflict for those battles that really don’t matter in 5 minutes or 5 years.

Seeing Clearly Join us this week for a journey of the soul with a message on “Seeing Clearly,” remembering the power of our own perceptions and choosing to shift from assumptions to understanding.
Seeing Clearly – Today’s message is “Seeing Clearly.” Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana, continues our 2025 series on Wholehearted Living and our March talks on relationships. She speaks of remembering the power of perception, of shifting from assumptions to understanding, and of drawing wisdom from your inner advisor which has all the answers. She reminds us our perception depends on our own thinking and gives a few tips on how to avoid the traps of assumptions. She also provides a number of Spiritual practices for seeing clearly both in our interactions with others and with ourselves.
Katherine Economou stated: “Wisdom begins when we stop assuming and start asking.”
And Lao Tzu, the ancient Chinese philosopher, taught:
“At the center of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want.”

Seeing Clearly– Message Only – Listen as Rev. Larrye-Marie Heyl, spiritual leader of Center for Spiritual Living Southeast Louisiana continues our 2025 series on Wholehearted Living and our month of March talks on relationships with a message on “Seeing Clearly.” She invites you on a journey that embraces how to see yourself as well as others more clearly. For yourself, that means listening closely to your inner advisor and drawing wisdom from it rather than listening to the voice of that inner critic that diminishes and criticizes who we are. For others, it means being more discerning and avoiding jumping to conclusions or reacting before we fully understand the situation.
Ernest Holmes said: “The world we see is the world we are looking at and thinking into.”
Rev. Katherine Economou encourages us: “Speak to yourself as you would to someone you love.”
Imagine how much impact this community can have if we each chose to see clearly, shifting from assumptions to understanding and recognizing the power of our perceptions in our lives.
